The Chesapeake Sports Club's May luncheon was held at the Chesapeake Conference Center. With Chesapeake Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Jared Cotton in attendance, the club awarded scholarships to 14 deserving high school students.
Not in attendance, but also awarded scholarships were Archie Hill and Dylan Holbach of Deep Creek High School, as well as Maelyn Corbett and Alaina Martinez of Hickory High School. Nathan T. Beck Scholarship winner was Schyler Panagsagan of Great Bridge High School.
